Fostering Connections

Our High Country Campus will deliver a profound opportunity for ÌÇÐÄVlog to develop learning initiatives that foster a deep connection with Country, utilising all of students’ senses to connect with the natural environment and with each other.

High Country Campus
Projects

Through this transformative vision, we will create a sanctuary where students can immerse themselves in nature, cultivate a profound appreciation for the environment, and develop the resilience, self-awareness and leadership skills necessary to navigate the complexities of our rapidly changing world.

Dining and Recreation

An indoor-outdoor flexible building taking advantage of the unique location and views. The meeting place for the entire school community to come together and learn, share a meal and enjoy some social recreation time.

Sports and Recreation

A much-needed facility for the campus. A covered flexible full-sized basketball court that provides active sport and recreation opportunities all year round. This can also double as a large assembly space.

Student and Staff Accommodation

The key buildings and accommodation for 100 students will be located on the natural ridge in a compact cluster, where the common buildings take advantage of the best views. Student accommodation will be organised into single storey cabins each containing 12 twin rooms (24 students per cabin), shared student amenities and a student lounge. Staff accommodation will be located in refurbished existing accommodation buildings.

Administration and Arrival

The front door to the campus and secure point of entry, with visitor parking and the administration and arrival building, with a new service road loop serving the dining hall, administration and workshop.

Workshop/Parking

Equipment storage is a key function for the campus. The storage block includes a shed, large equipment store, water sports store and service vehicle parking.
